In 2010 the Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation created the Inspired Educator Grant program to support and recognize excellence in teaching and learning. These grants are intended to improve the quality of Saint Paul Public School classrooms by funding projects that engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving, and deepen students’ knowledge of standards-based subject matter.
The Inspired Educator Grant program was developed with input from teachers, community members, district staff and Foundation partners. The Inspired Educator Grant spotlights the positive work of SPPS teachers and shares their work with the broader community.
Grant applications for 2011-2012 will be accepted starting September 6, 2011. The Foundation invites individuals and teams of teachers (SPPS PreK-12) to apply for an Inspired Educator Grant of up to $3,000. Please click here to find the 2011 grant guidelines and application.
