The Foundation is committed to increasing the number of well-trained tutors working with students in St. Paul. To do this, we provide support to individuals who want to become tutors and programs who are engaging volunteers.
We have created a comprehensive training guide for math, literacy and behavior spanning grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The tutor training materials provided here include best practices, tips, and tools to guide volunteers in their role as a tutor. Each training guide also includes a set of handouts that will supplement the training. All programs are encouraged to take advantage of these free resources.
